Simply moving is key .I am having to train my mind to do the same. I've had 6 knee surgeries so the knee thing definitely will get ya down. I pray whatever is needed to help ease the pain and allow you to be more active can be done soon. I know not being able to do the things you want can take a toll on your mind as well .You can do this. If it's a movemebt, it's progress. Just making ourselves move instead of be sedentary. As an adapted physical education teacher I have to modify and adapt activities all the time for my students with physical impairments. I think what other have mentioned with low impact exercises such as stationary bike, arm bike machine, bands, etc are all excellent ideas. Also, some things to do are some of your typical physical therapy exercises that I'm sure you are aware of. You can do this , just make a list of things you want to get done in a day that requires moving . We are all in this together physically and mentally .If you need anything please reach out . I will research more ideas for you with your knee situation as well.
