* When Pigs Fly 6 carb wheat bread * (4) Al Fresco chicken meatballs with 1/2 cup stewed tomato and TBSP parm cheese meets my Italian cravings. * 4 oz Chicken breast with fresh salsa, oven roasted pepper and onions, TBPS cheese and a touch of sour cream meets my Mexican cravings. * Oven roasted veggies: Orange and Red peppers, onions, sliced carrots satisfy the sweet tastebuds. It helps me to see foods as they are...fat/protein/carbs/sugar and not as good-vs-bad. A cupcake is what a cupcake is...HUGE amounts of fat/sugar and carbs. Do I want a cupcake? YES. Yes I do. Do I want fat/sugar and carbs? NO. Different mental playing field. WE GOT THIS!

I mean this in a good way. I realized the overwhelming drive advertising has to get people involved in eating for "fun", it's a reward, you deserve the 1200 calories sandwich, don't you?! If I am watching TV I have to mentally divert from these commercials. It's a kryptonite for me. I actually had to stop watching my baking shows because FOR ME they are a negative mental pull. I went through my Pinterest and realized the INSANE amount of food pins I had. This just that creates a plan to fail. I am going to work on recreating my food pins for success. WE GOT THIS!

It's the weekend and I need to get my mind focused on success. At least one of us has played this before, but let's go. I'm Going on an Island and I'm Bringing: - Chicken sausage - Mitchells Salsa (no dry chicken please!) - Chair Yoga classes from Daily Om (I need a new addiction) - Chicken from the best butcher I can find...food should still satisfy or I'll stray. What are you going to bring? I might get lucky and find your luggage! WE GOT THIS!

So after a few days of on track eating I ate just a few things that would be off track but not the full-tilt spin off I usually go into. I ate 3 ravioli and 4 squares of chocolate after a perfect day. Have I failed? Is it all or nothing at this point or all or nothing forever? How does that work? It satisfied me for taste and indulgence, but is it just a gateway?
